We understand, going to a new church can be a little scary, especially when you’ve got no idea what you’re getting into! However, at First Assembly “nobody is perfect and everyone is welcome.”
Are my kids welcome?
Yes! We believe that “little kids are a big deal.” Kids Church is a safe and fun environment for all kids from K – 6th grade. It’s a great place for kids to make lifelong friendships and learn about God’s plan for their life. We do ask that your kids sit with you during worship until we dismiss for Kids Church.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Pastor usually teaches in jeans and a button down shirt.
Are you going to ask for money?
There is an opportunity given every week for people to give tithes and offerings. However, we won’t ever pressure you into giving. God wants us to be cheerful givers.
Worship?
Worship is a regular part of our services; we’re a singing faith. The worship team lead us from the stage in a handful of songs every week. During this time, it’s very normal for people to clap, sing or lift up their hands.
